Choose textures with ALEXA 35
ARRI Textures allow you to alter the amount and character of grain in the image, and the amount of contrast at different levels of detail, perceived as sharpness.
Previous ALEXA cameras were pre-programmed with a default texture, but ALEXA 35 lets you choose from a variety of ARRI Textures. Example images below have been zoomed in around 500% from the original frame size, in order to illustrate the effect of ARRI Textures on fine detail.
Unveil beautiful colors for your images
REVEAL Color Science is a completely new image processing chain used by ALEXA 35 internally and all latest digital ARRI cameras through a Image Software Developer Kit (except ARRIFLEX D-20/21).
REVEAL Color Science helps you to reproduce colors more accurate, produce cleaner images and supports by faster and easier grading for SDR and HDR.

Explore how ARRI cameras can profit from REVEAL Color Science: Below are images shot in ARRIRAW with ALEXA 35 and ALEXA Mini LF, both processed with REVEAL Color Science.
While there are some differences in dynamic range and depth of field, the colors are extremely close, showing that ALEXA 35 and ALEXA Mini LF can be combined on a shoot without causing any difficulties in the grade.

Chose your vintage feel & define bokeh with Impression Filters
ARRI Impression Filters are eight Impression V Filters that give a vintage feel to Signature Prime and Zoom lenses. The four negative and four positive diopter filters incrementally shift the focus characteristics of the image, allowing a range of detuned looks to be created with one set of Signature lenses.
