The ECS Sync iOS app functions as a fast and direct communication platform between ARRI and users of ARRI's Electronic Control System (ECS). Users can exchange files between devices and the app, as well as receive up-to-the-minute software updates, bulletins, and answers to frequently asked questions about the products.


Simplified lens file workflows

With the ECS Sync App, you can save and load lens tables and user setup files to or from the ARRI Hi‑5 hand unit via Bluetooth, and create a personalized lens data archive.

Bluetooth file transfer between ECS devices and the app via the new Hi‑5 hand unit eliminates the need for a bulky laptop on set.

Lens files and user settings can be displayed graphically, archived in the app, or shared to other users on via email, WhatsApp, Dropbox, Google Drive, and more.

Easy software updates

Software updates for the Hi‑5 and any connected LBUS devices are fast and easy with the ECS Sync App, and you'll be the first to hear the latest product news. Software versions can be synchronized, and transferred from the app to connected devices.
