Barndoors and snoots are fixed onto the front of a light optic and help to minimize spill light. For the ARRI Orbiter optics you can choose between 4-leaf or 8-leaf barndoors. With a barndoor you can control the beam by closing or opening the barndoors, whereas a snoot helps you to narrow the beam into a soft-edged circle. Select the right sized barndoor or snoot for your optic. ARRI also developed a gobo holder for its Projection Optics to keep the standard B-size metal or glass gobo in place.
