Since the company’s inception in 1917, ARRI’s company headquarters have been located in the Bavarian capital of Munich. After outgrowing its original location in the Tuerkenstrasse after over one hundred years of business, ARRI constructed a building, the ARRIAL, just a few minutes up the road in Parkstadt Schwabing.
ARRIAL is an ultra-modern production and innovation location offering optimal working conditions for over 600 employees. For the first time in the company’s history, ARRIAL offers space for all the specialist areas within the Camera Systems unit—from development and production to marketing and service—as well as all central functions under one roof.
ARRIAL also features the ARRI Museum where a visitors can view a few of the 19 Scientific and Technical Awards ARRI has received from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in recognition of its innovative contributions to the film industry. In the neighboring ARRI Studio, equipped with state-of-the-art camera and lighting technology from ARRI, virtual All-Hands meetings are produced along with live webinars and other moving-image productions.
