- Basic & Pro Accessory Kits for Sony Venice
NAB, Las Vegas – ARRI announces new and versatile on-set crew supplies, expanding the company’s PCA range of Pro Camera Accessories.
Unit Bags II
ARRI is launching an updated version of its popular equipment bags. The tough and adaptable ARRI Unit Bags II are perfect for transporting camera gear and accessories. A fully padded interior and reinforced edges provide ample protection from the rigors of life on set.
All bags are covered in durable waterproof fabric, with an additional waterproof rain cover for use in extreme weather conditions. As this is detachable, it can also be used to protect other pieces of equipment.
The main compartment can be customized with the aid of soft yet durable dividers, which come in long and short sizes, and are included. Three to five removable accessory pouches attach to fabric hook-and-loop fastening strips on the underside of the lid and will also adhere to the sides of the main compartment, as required.
There is lots of extra space for bits of kit including three differently sized integrated exterior pouches, containing integral net pockets, and closed with waterproof zips; and a fabric pocket on the back of the bag. Strong fabric loops on the front of the bag allow the attachment of additional items, with the aid of carabiners (which are not included).
The bags have sturdy two-piece handles, with a cloth hand-grip for extra carrying comfort. Two shoulder straps are also included. These enable the bag to be used as a backpack for short distances.
There are three sizes of bag. The large and medium versions have a detachable zipped document bag, which fits to the top of the lid with the aid of fabric hook-and-loop strips. These can also be used to attach accessory pouches in the absence of the document bag. The small bag comes with an elastic drawstring and cord lock on the top of the lid.
All sizes come with a baggage tag adorned with the ARRI logo, which also features on the front and top of the bags themselves. The traditional ARRI logo graces both end panels.
Additional accessory sets are available separately.
Basic & Pro Accessory Kits for Sony Venice
ARRI’s suggested accessory kits for the new camera model from Sony, the Venice, are also now available. The kits bring a touch of ARRI style and workmanship to help camera operators get the most from the Sony Venice.
Basic Kits for Sony Venice include a Plate, a Bridge Plate Adapter BPA-5, Support Rods, and a Quick Release Plate QRP-1.
Pro Sets for Sony Venice come with an additional Top Plate, a Camera Center Handle CCH-4, and a Rod Mounting Bracket RMB-3.

The Bridge Plate Adapter allows a quick and simple transfer from shoulder camera to traditional cine style bridge plates (BP-8 and BP-9). It is also compatible with the upper part of the Plate for Sony Venice which allows the use of 15mm lightweight rods. VCT-14 broadcast or BP cine-standard can both be used with the accessories for the Sony Venice.
