We hereby announce the release of Software Update Package (SUP) 2.0 for the cforce mini and cforce plus motor.

The latest SUP doubles the responsiveness of cforce motors and works with Hi‑5, ZMU‑4, SXU-1, and WCU‑4 hand units. The new Encoder Mode for cforce mini allows electronically logged manual adjustments without removing lens motors. Download SUPs here.

ARRI is happy to introduce the software update package SUP 2.0 – the biggest update for ARRI Hi‑5 and ARRI Radio Interface Adapter RIA‑1 we’ve released to date. A detailed explanation of the update can be found in the release notes. Download SUPs here.

We hereby announce the release of the software update packages SUP 1.3.0 for the ARRI Hi‑5 hand unit and SUP 1.2.1 for the Radio Interface Adapter RIA‑1. Download SUPs here.

An integral part of the Hi‑5 ecosystem, the Radio Interface Adapter RIA‑1 supports all three of the radio modules introduced with the Hi‑5 hand unit, including the long-range RF-2400 and upcoming RF-900. The RIA‑1 supports camera control for ARRI and third-party cameras and can also be used as a wireless expansion device, turning hand units such as the OCU‑1 and Master Grips into wireless control units. The RIA‑1 is now shipping, and new software updates (SUPs) for related products (Hi‑5, SXU-1, Master Grips, OCU‑1) are also now available. Download SUPs here.

Long-range radio module support, wireless expansion and third-party camera control are now all available to users of the ARRI Electronic Control System thanks to the release of the RIA‑1 Radio Interface Adapter. This is a Hotfix for the recently released SUP 1.1.0 and fixes the bug of a wrong Hi‑5 tally status when the camera is connected via LANC or RS. This bug is only apparent with SUP 1.1.0.
