Upgrade your TRINITY 2

With a Pan Axis Module attached, the head of ARRI’s TRINITY 2 camera stabilizer converts into a compact and powerful three-axis stabilized remote head, allowing TRINITY 2 operators to expand the skills and chargeable services they can offer on set. By augmenting the powerful tilt and roll motors of the TRINTY 2 head with a similarly powerful pan axis, the new module permits TRINITY 2 to be used in situations that would normally be reserved for standalone remote heads or three-axis gimbals.

Features at a glance

Freedom of movement
The TRINITY 2 Pan Axis allows for unlimited rotations up to 720° when powered by an external supply or block battery, in addition to multiple roll rotations and 170° of tilt range. Weighing only 3.5 kg/7.7 lb., the compact Pan Axis Module turns TRINITY 2 into a three-axis stabilized head that is smaller than most others, making it a great solution for space-constrained setups such as inside a car or mounted to a motorcycle.
Fast switching
Switching between body-mounted operation of the stabilizer and hard-mounted remote head mode with the Pan Axis Module is simple and can be achieved on set in under five minutes, which allows for spontaneous creative decisions without affecting the shooting schedule. Camera builds can be left in the TRINITY 2 head when making these changeovers, so no time needs to be spent rebalancing the rig.
High torque for compact camera setups
When used as a three-axis remote head, the TRINITY 2 has a formidable 25 kg/55 lb. payload capacity. Camera and lens combinations that are physically long are easily accommodated due to the concentric ring design, allowing for simple builds, often without counterweights. All features of the TRINITY 2 head, such as flexible connectivity, Camera Stabilizer System (CSS) accessory compatibility, mounting points, and tilt lock are retained.
User-orientated control software
ARRI's new CSS EVO GUI 3.0.10 is a standardized graphical user interface for the TRINITY 2 and the larger stabilized 360 EVO remote head. The CSS EVO GUI 3.0.10 enables quick and easy control of focus, iris and zoom via LBUS as well as the integration of these controls into complex, pre-programmed camera movements.
All 360 EVO control options are supported by the Pan Axis Module, and the system also expands the functionality of ARRI’s Remote Control Panel RCP-3.

ARRI TRINITY 2 and ARTEMIS 2 Feature Tour

ARRI introduces a second generation of its TRINITY and ARTEMIS camera stabilizers. The new modular system has been redesigned down to the smallest detail, incorporating enhancements to camera movement, connectivity, power management, user interface, balance options, and product longevity. A quick and easy upgrade transforms the purely mechanical ARTEMIS 2 into the hybrid TRINITY 2, which adds electronic stabilization for an even wider range of movements and angles.
