A proven alternative to the traditional film festivals, Energa Camerimage, continues to be a unique event. Dedicated to the art of cinematography, the festival celebrates its 27th anniversary in Toruń, Poland, this year with screenings, seminars, discussions, and much more running from November 9 to 16. Once again, ARRI is looking forward to attending and supporting this one-of-a-kind international film festival.
ARRI and ARRI Rental are showcasing their latest camera products and services at the festival center. Highlights include ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA 65, ARRI Signature Prime lenses, and camera stabilizer TRINITY. ARRI Rental’s DNA lenses are also featured, including three new, uncoated, prototype DNA LF X lenses.
ARRI’s Big Screen Experience welcomes DP Ken Seng, 1st AC Adam Coles, and gaffer Brian Bartolini of “Terminator: Dark Fate” to a live panel discussion followed by an exclusive screening of the film. The ARRI Academy Master Class, led by cinematographer Julio Macat ASC and assisted by TRINITY operator Charlie Rizek, DIT Arthur To, and 1st AC E. Gunnar Mortensen, focuses on large-format capture. The other seminar will present a deep dive into the ARRI Signature Prime with ARRI camera lens specialist and veteran director of photography, Art Adams. Connectivity is a major topic on film sets. With the wealth of tools and technology now available to filmmakers, the future challenge will most likely be how to connect it all optimally. Join us for this first-hand seminar and learn about the myriad options for greater camera synergy on set.
In this ARRI Academy seminar, in collaboration with ARRI partners, attendees will learn how to: Control your ARRI camera with a web browser; work with 3rd party apps that connect with ARRI cameras and see them in action; use and manipulate creative looks in the camera in real time; transport and preview your creative choices from location to editorial in SDR and HDR; exchange and collect valuable meta data by connecting the camera with script and continuity information tools.
Senior Trainer & Consultant Digital Workflow solutions at ARRI, Florian Rettich, will lead this workshop and provide the audience with essential information and real life examples of modern tools on set. Direct audience interaction will be encouraged via a Q&A session.
