ARRI is thrilled to be able to attend EnergaCAMERIMAGE again in 2021. This special event, dedicated to the art of cinematography, is celebrating its 29th anniversary in Toruń, Poland, this year with screenings, seminars, discussions, and much more running from November 13 to 20, 2021. Once again, ARRI is looking forward to attending and supporting this one-of-a-kind international film festival.
ARRI and ARRI Rental are showcasing their latest camera products and services at the CKK Jordanki Festival Center. Highlights include the ALEXA Mini LF and ALEXA LF cameras, the new Hi‑5 hand unit, ARRI Signature Prime and ARRI Signature Zoom lenses, and the ARRI Orbiter. ARRI Rental’s new ALFA and Moviecam lenses are also featured along with the ALEXA XT B+W camera and the exclusive ARRI Rental 65 mm analog film camera system—the ARRIFLEX 765.

At this live Camerimage event, founding members of the ARRI Solutions Group gather together a panel of experts to discuss exciting new applications surrounding mixed reality production. Join ARRI’s Stephan Schenk, general manager Global Sales & Solutions, his colleague David Bermbach, head of global technology at ARRI Rental, as well as other specialized industry partners for an insightful exchange. Special guests include Nik Summerer, cinematographer on the Netflix productions “1899” and “Dark.”
The panel will explore the whole gamut of working with mixed reality and virtual productions. Hear from DPs and creatives first-hand about their experiences with the latest mixed reality and virtual production projects. Learn about the new creative choices these environments afford as well as their unique challenges. A Q&A session with the audience at the end of the discussion will round out the event.

This year, ARRI Rental is proud to be displaying its exclusive 65 mm analog film camera system at Camerimage—the ARRIFLEX 765. You are invited to come and see the 765 at ARRI’s booth, and to attend a special 90-minute seminar about the camera’s history and operation, presented by DP, camera operator, and ARRI Rental technician Sascha Mieke.
Acclaimed cinematographer Vittorio Storaro AIC, ASC, who is attending Camerimage this year, used the ARRIFLEX 765 on Bernardo Bertolucci’s 1993 film “Little Buddha,” which is screening at the festival. Other DPs to have embraced the 765 include Alex Thomson BSC on Kenneth Branagh’s “Hamlet” (1996), Frank Griebe on Tom Tykwer’s “The International” (2006), and most recently, Linus Sandgren FSF, ASC, who used it for parts of the Italian sequence in the latest Bond film, “No Time to Die.”
